Begun ...

... Squidette's new blanket.

Stats to date:

28 rows of seed stitch over 270 stitches.

3.5 grams of Cascade 220 Superwash per row with roughly 10 grams for the cast on row.

There were 4 grams left when I started the last row.

Yes, I had enough to finish.

14.5 minutes per row according to Time Boy.

Now I will set it aside and wait for Knitty City to get in the yellow that makes up the bulk of the blanket.

Do you know how many rows there will be? I just wondered how long it will take to make it.

And thanks again for all the NYC Christmas photos. I spent supper time in your album. What a wonderful sight. I loved those snow people..even one in a tux!

Whew! I don't know that I could handle that much seed stitch.

It was only a week ago and I was warned that it might take longer due to the holiday. No biggie, I've got lots of other stuff to work on.

Thank you for answering my question about Little Squid's watches, and also for the lovely holiday tour of Manhattan. I'm amazed at how many stores are open on Christmas day in the city. Do some close for Hanukkah as well?

The afghan looks great so far. I hope that the rest of the yarn comes in soon so Squidette can enjoy it before spring. I'll probably finish my wrap about June.
