The prototype ...
This, naturally, left us with a whole lot of cake. What to do? What to do?
First we hit all of the neighbors on our floor. Then we took the top layer to the lobby and sat for an hour and gave out cake.
It was fun. We made lots of people happy and now only have the two 9 inch layers to "dispose" of. (The remaining top layer is going to another family on our floor as soon as they get home.)
Now ... I think I need some cake ...

I really do need to move closer. I totally want cake.
/sigh
Oh that looks so good. And the top icing matches one of my tshirts and some yarn I dyed. I could so eat a bite and even if I dropped it on me, nobody would know!
I wished I lived in your building!
And I was reading about your Poutine adventures - us Canadians LOVE our Poutine. It doesn't sound so appetizing, but man is it GOOD.
I hope you found more neighbors to share that cake with. Yum!
I loved your photos of Montreal. Chris and I want to go there, and seeing your bike trail photos is a great advertisement!!
