My second Sock-ret Pal came through today with a box of Squidlicious goodies!Included are 3 skeins of Noro and a skein of hand-dyed sock yarn from White Willow Market. It is a lovely pinky/purply colorway and I cannot wait to knit it up! Thank you, Sockret Pal Part 2! I promise to put up some more squirrel sagas soon.

And for your amusement I give you:Big Mommy, Little Mommy. (Said in a sing-song voice)

Awwww two fine Squids for sure. Love your new goodies. Do you know who your Pal #2 is?

SOOO glad you liked them. I hope it wasn't too much yarn, with a side of yarn. Still, does anyone ever turn down more yarn? And those Noro blues and greens seemed awfully Squidy to me.
Love the shots of you and Miss Squid. She's so lucky to learn so early!
Hope the Swap has been redeemed!

So in my head when I left that last comment I thought the Squids were knitting together. Looking back I realize that clearly is not the case and I feel a little foolish (re: wow, what was I looking at?).
Please strike the Miss Squid learning early from the record- though knowing her way around a laptop certainly IS a good skill to have.
Your slightly embarrassed pal,

What cool yarn, and you got the EZ book as well? I have that one and love it. Check out the Maltese Fisherman's Hat - fun and funky with built-in sorta earflappy things - really warm in wool or alpaca!

Cute picture of you two. :D

See it's Noro colors like that which will keep me trying to knit it. *L*

Lovely gifties!
